Malabar X

We went sailing on the Malabar X yesterday. The trip was organized by the Corning Professional Network, which is an informal social organization in Corning where mostly young professionals who don't have kids socialize. We had never sailed before, so this was fun. The boat is gorgeous too. The captain and crew were great and even let people steer. The weather was borderline, but at least the rain held off. We had a strong northern wind so we tacked back and forth as we sailed up Seneca Lake. On the trip back to Watkins Glen the boat was level enough for us to do some wine tasting. The wines were all from the Hazlitt winery.
